Into the Night
We adjusted to and flourished a bit in the month hiatus from the boat. I was able to drive from Sarasota to the boat twice and make some minor repairs and prepare the boat for the trip north. Bike riding, walking, and yoga occupied the rest of the days while the world sunk into pandemic panic. Finally the Covid numbers were improving and the markets rebounding and it was time to close up, pack up and load up. We brought my mother Bern to Tampa for her flight north with Charles the dog and got a rental car for the trip to Ft Pierce. We enjoyed the company of Steve and Terry sharing great Italian takeout at the condo Wednesday then Thursday we drove the packed SUV to the marina. After just 6 hours we were unpacked. The next day water, fuel and last minute groceries and return the car
